Take me back!

Paula Scher’s work has an energy and vibrancy that immediately draws attention. Her ability to use typography as both form and function is remarkable, as seen in her dynamic posters for The Public Theater, where letters dance across the page, evoking the movement of performance. What appeals to me about Scher’s work is her refusal to separate high art from design, allowing her to create pieces that are both aesthetically rich and commercially successful. Her playful yet structured approach to type inspires me to push boundaries in my own typographic work while maintaining clarity and impact.
